Today, is YORKSHIRE DAY!!

Normally, we would get our residents participating in our annual 'welly wanging' competition, but this year we will all be celebrating with fancy dress, Yorkshire flags, our flat caps and of course with lots of Yorkshire puddings.

Today, 28th July, marks the birthday of Beatrix Potter. Born in 1866, Beatrix is an English writer, illustrator and conservationist best known for her children's books, especially 'The Tale of Peter Rabbit'.
Our activities and wellbeing co-ordinator, Iria Cunha, is a huge fan of Beatrix Potters work, and she has committed to spending the day sharing stories with residents and staff and dedicating arts and crafts to the stories that we all read growing up.
