Research Blog #2 Ongoing contributions to important research
Although we haven’t been able to meet in person, we (as we know everyone is) have been using zoom to keep in touch with each other. We have been focusing on NICHE-Leeds and we are going to build the research link remotely through regular zoom workshops. This week has been a busy one for the Research team with several ongoing research projects and others in the pipeline.
The CONDOR study is ongoing and we’re excited to be getting a new machine to conduct more testing at Seacroft Grange. All tests have now been used and information has been sent for official analysis. We are hoping to keep this machine but if not we have more in the pipeline to trial which is very exciting!
Flu Vaccines Opportunity
We have also been asked to get involved in some research surrounding Flu vaccines and staff/resident opinions which will be very valuable to gather different views for or against vaccines and why, especially for staff working in the care sector. This is something that we are excited to get involved with as it is such important research, especially at this time. Keep up to date with our blogs to find out more about this opportunity in upcoming weeks.
Through our NICHE-Leeds work we are working with the University of Leeds to look at what more we can do to enhance staff well-being at work. We would really like to hear your feedback on this. We’re keen to hear your views around:
- what helps (or doesn’t help) to feel happy at work?
- what sort of things would make it even better?
